Landscaping ProcessPlanningThe first phase includes site visits, some meetings, and the initial design work. We meet, and often meet again to facilitate our design and review process. We modify our designs as necessary and re-present them if needed. We place a high value on getting it right in planning as that is when changes are most easily made. Site PreparationThis phase can include removal of existing plant material or hardscapes. Immediately after initial demolition we do any elevation changes, rock work, patios and walkways. We also begin irrigation installation, valves and other main elements. InstallationWe start searching for plants about a week or two before we’re ready for ‘em. Plant installation occurs when grades are finished. Irrigation comes to the plants quickly thereafter… but we always install the plant first, then put the emitter to it. This is different from other landscapers who lay out the irrigation first, then make the plants match it. After everything is planted and irrigated and cleaned up, we install mulches, taking care not to bury plants. FinalitiesWe clean-up well, check everything, make sure the customer is happy and all questions and concerns addressed. Then we back it all with our warranty.
