Frequently Asked Questions - DetailHorticulture What is the only way to really kill Bermuda Grass? We use Roundup to kill turfgrass that has Bermuda in it. There is no other way short of digging down 1 to 2 feet deep. We use Roundup because it is both low-toxicity and high kill rate. We improve the ?kill-ratio? by adding a surfactant, a pH reducer and a fertilizer. We let the lawn dry for a few days beforehand so the grass is most conducive to soaking up the water droplets. To be effective, the treatment MUST be done in warm weather, June through September is best. Return to Frequently Asked Questions |
