About Us

At Schilling Horticulture, our work is driven by three primary principles; that our landscapes should always be functional, sustainable and beautiful. We approach the creation and care of landscapes with a holistic approach. Just as a person in a low-stress environment is less likely to become sick, the same is true of plants. We strive to thoughtfully use the right plant in the right place, optimizing various micro-climates that exist in every yard. We put sun-lovers in the sun, shade-lovers in the shade, and often take advantage of eastern and wind-protected locations to plant specimens that love such conditions.

We also strive to make our customers feel comfortable with every aspect of the work we do. We want you involved, because that's how we can best create or renovate a landscape that's just right for you. That's why we're willing and even eager to explain each step in the process and why we use the materials and methods we do. We want very much for you to be another happy customer of Schilling Horticulture, so you too, will tell your friends and neighbors about us, that we really know what we're doing, how we create for each customer, and how we care.
